Alejandro Tullio, the Electoral National Director, today informed a provisional vote recount will be available “by midnight” next Sunday, when Argentines go to the polls in the legislative elections.
At that time, “we’ll have some solid information,” enough to work out an outcome, he said.
“At 9 pm, the Interior Minister Florencio Randazzo will brief on the development of the election and will begin to inform about the vote recount. By midnight will have some solid information, “ Tullio explained today.
In statements to a local radio, the government official confirmed every campaign rally is banned until Sunday at 9 pm as well as the publishing of opinion polls.
Political curfew started today at 8 am in media outlets, except social media like Twitter and Facebook which are not reached by the curfew.
