Dear Rolf,
1) To Register in USA the German final judgments, Milberg must present, among other documents, a legal expert certification/affidavit. See attachment.
1.1) German bonds without judgment don’t need an expert certification/affidavit. We have to present a Hague Service Request for service upon the Republic of Argentina in Argentina to the Argentinean Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Argentina’s reply is send back to the US to start the complaint.
2) Agreement to be signed to US law firm.
2.1) Success fee is 15% on the recovery.
2.2) Start-up fee is 2%: 1% on the face value upon filing and 1% at judgment. (we have to confirm the start up fees, as Hague certification, german expert certification, etc could be very expensive, but depending on the amounts it can besplitted/reduced.
3) Please send us the bonds per client , indicating bonds with and without german judgments
