Los Fondos Buitre denuncian el pacto entre Argentina e Irán

Los Fondos Buitre volvieron ayer al ataque contra Argentina. Esta vez publicaron una publicidad en el Washington Post, Politico, Roll Call y otras prestigiosas publicacionesde Washington denunciando el pacto sellado entre Argentina e Irán.
Bajo el titulo "Aliados vergonzosos" la publicidad muestra una foto de la presidente Cristina Kirchner y el presidente irani Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. “Ha llegado el momento de impedir que Argentina siga transgrediendo la ley estadounidense y la ley internacional”, dice el texto.
La publicidad fue financiada por ATFA, la fuerza de tarea estadounidense argentina, el grupo que esta haciendo lobby en Washington en nombre de NML, el fondo de Paul Singer y de otros grupos afectados por diferentes politicas de Cristina Kirchner.
El objetivo de esta campaña publicitaria es educar a los legisladores estadounidenses, a los funcionarios de Obama, a diplomáticos y académicos sobre la conducta de la Presidenta Kirchner que según elllos va en contra del derecho internacional.
Desde hace tiempo, los Fondos Buitre mantienen un duro enfrentamiento con la Argentina en torno al canje de bonos en default. El gobierno de Cristina Fernández de Kirchner realizó una oferta de pago, pero los tenedores de deuda la calificaron de “inaceptable” e “inconsistente”. El caso ahora está en la Corte de Apelaciones de Nueva York y se espera un fallo.
Esta no es la primera acción "mediática" de AFTA contra la Argentina. Para el cacerolazo del 8 de noviembre (#8N), la organización colgó en su sitio web una tarjeta roja, como la que usan los árbitros de fútbol, con la leyenda "¡Basta K!", para que los indignados con el Gobierno protesten en todo el mundo.

The vulture funds went on the attack again yesterday against Argentina. This time they published an ad in the Washington Post, Politico, Roll Call and other prestigious Washington publications denouncing the pact sealed between Argentina and Iran.
Under the title "Shameful Allies" the ad shows a photo of President Cristina Kirchner and Iranian PresidentMahmoud Ahmadinejad. “The time has come to stop Argentina from continuing to break U.S. and international law," says the text.
The ad was financed by ATFA, the American Task Force Argentina, the group that is lobbying in Washington in the name of NML, Paul Singer's fund, and other groups affected by the different policies of Cristina Kirchner.
The objective of this publicity campaign is to educate U.S. legislators, Obama officials, diplomats and academics about the conduct of President Kirchner that according to them goes against international law.
For some time, the Vulture Funds have maintained a strong confrontationaround the swap of bonds in default. The government ofCristina Fernández de Kirchnermade a payment offer, but the holders of the debt called it "unacceptable" and "inconsistent". The case now is in the Court of Appeals of New York and a ruling is expected.
This is not the first "media" action by ATFA against Argentina. For the pot-banging protest of November 8 (#8N), the organization uploaded on its website a red card, like the ones used by soccer referees, with the slogan "¡Basta K!",for those indignant at the government protesting around the world.
